Sumerian god[edit]

Enlil raped his future wife and sister Ninlil and got from her a boy : Nanna , the moon god.

baby talk?[edit]

In Australia at least a lot of adults use the word Nanna to refer to their grandma. I'm not sure "babytalk" is a good way to describe this usage. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk) 11:11, 6 December 2006 (UTC).Reply[reply]

In Italy we tell babies it is time to go to nanna (=bed).
